Getting Closer

The time to depart for the land of Ladakh is coming closer. This fall there will be students from Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Washington D.C. trekking together through the Zanskar Valley to SECMOL. This blog will be used throughout the fall to post reflections and experiences by the students. As many of you may know areas close to SECMOL have been severely affected by the heavy rainfall happened on August 6th. Fortunately, our friends at SECMOL are safe and the school has not been affected. Our trekking route is clear and ready for us! This is shall be an amazing opportunity to share so many positive experiences with the people of Ladakh following this tragic flooding event.
